Nikkah Pen FAQs

Yes. You can add your names, your wedding date or the words “Qabool Hai”. You can also choose the colour of the bow. If you have another idea, ask us on WhatsApp before you order — some requests cost extra.

It depends on the pen.

• Handmade and jute pens: on a small tag attached to the pen.
• Metal and dip pens: on a tag, or laser-engraved into the pen itself. Tell us which you prefer.
• The imported touchscreen pen: cannot be personalized.

Tag lettering comes in gold or silver, and the choice is yours.

Up to 20 characters, including spaces. That is enough for two first names, or a name and a date. If your text is longer, send it to us on WhatsApp and we will tell you how it will look before you order.

Yes, on most pens. The “Qabool Hai” tag costs nothing on handmade, jute and metal pens. It is not available on dip pens or on pens with a diamond at the top, because of how those pens are built.

A tag with your own names or date costs PKR 500 on any pen that can carry one.

Yes. We send you a preview of the personalized pen before we make it. Please check the spelling carefully at that point, because a personalized pen cannot be returned or exchanged once it is made.

Choose your pen, select “Custom Name” or the free “Qabool Hai” tag on the product page, and add it to your cart. Write the exact text you want in the order notes, or send it to us on WhatsApp.

We confirm the order once the 50% advance is paid, then send your preview.

Yes. Many couples order two matching pens so the bride and groom each sign with their own, and some add a third for the witnesses. Add each one to your cart as usual, or message us on WhatsApp for a larger order.

Often, yes. We can change bow colours, build most handmade designs without the feather, and source a flower colour we do not stock. Send us a photo of what you have in mind on WhatsApp and we will tell you whether we can make it, what it will cost and how long it will take.

Our pens cost between PKR 990 and PKR 1,990 before personalization.

Most handmade pens are PKR 1,490 and every dip pen is PKR 1,690. Add PKR 500 for a tag with your own names or date.

PKR 990 buys a gem-topped metal pen, one of four simpler handmade designs, or the imported touchscreen pen. With standard delivery at PKR 350, the least you can spend is PKR 1,340 delivered.

We take 50% in advance to confirm the order, by bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa. You pay the remaining 50% in cash to the courier when the pen arrives.

Because a personalized pen can only ever be sold to you. The advance covers the tag or engraving we make with your names on it. For a pen with the free “Qabool Hai” tag, the same 50% applies.

A flat PKR 350 anywhere in Pakistan. Express delivery costs PKR 1,000 instead of the PKR 350, not on top of it.

No. The prices you see are the prices we charge. They are not a limited-time offer, so there is no deadline to rush for.

Most pens are kept ready-made, so we dispatch within 24 to 48 hours of confirming your order. A heavily customized design can take a little longer.

After that, Leopard Courier takes 2 to 4 working days to major cities and 3 to 5 working days to smaller towns. So most orders arrive within about a week.

Usually, yes. Express delivery costs PKR 1,000 in place of the standard PKR 350.

• In Lahore: delivered by bike or ready to collect within 36 hours. A ready-made pen with no personalization can reach you within 24 hours.
• Other cities: within 72 to 100 hours of you approving the design.

Message us on WhatsApp with your date and city, and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it in time.

Yes. Our workshop is at Naya Pull, Canal Road, Ghazi Pul, Muslimabad Tajpura, Lahore. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange a time, and we will confirm when your pen is ready.

Yes, on request. The cost depends on the country, so send us your full address on WhatsApp and we will confirm the charge and the delivery time before you pay anything.

We message you on WhatsApp when your pen is dispatched, with the Leopard Courier tracking number. If you have not heard from us within two working days of confirming your order, message us and we will check.

It is the pen the bride, groom and witnesses use to sign the Nikkah Nama. Any pen would do the job, but many couples choose a decorated one that matches their outfits or décor, often carrying their names or “Qabool Hai”. Most keep it afterwards with the Nikkah Nama or their wedding photographs.

The feathers on our handmade pens are real goose feathers, cleaned and trimmed by hand. One design uses a peacock feather instead.

The baby’s breath on our metal pens is real, dried and preserved, so it will not wilt. The roses and foliage on our jute pens are fabric, which stands up better to the texture of the twine.

Every pen in our handmade Nikkah pens collection comes with a feather as standard, but we can build most of those designs without one, keeping the ribbon, roses, pearls or bow. Ask us on WhatsApp before you order.

No. Ink is not included with our dip Nikkah pens, and we do not sell it. Any regular ink works, and you can buy it from any stationery shop.

If you have not used a dip pen before, practise a few signatures on spare paper first. Hold it at a gentle angle rather than upright, press lightly, and give the ink a few seconds to dry before folding the Nikkah Nama.

Yes. Every pen is packed in a box, which protects the feathers and flowers in transit and makes the pen easy to keep afterwards.

Keep it in its box, or display it in a frame or glass case alongside dried flowers from the day. Keep dried-flower pens out of direct sunlight so the colour lasts, and store feather pens where nothing can press on the feather and bend it.

A personalized pen cannot be returned or exchanged once it has been made, because the tag or engraving carries your names and the pen cannot be sold to anyone else. This is why we always send you a preview first — please check the spelling carefully at that stage.

If something else has gone wrong with your order, message us on WhatsApp and we will look at it.

Please record a video while you open the parcel. If anything is broken, send that unboxing video to us on WhatsApp within 24 hours of delivery.

We will take the case up with Leopard Courier and tell you what we can do. We can only review a claim that includes an unboxing video sent within 24 hours, so please film the parcel before opening it.

If we made the mistake, we will put it right. Send us a photo on WhatsApp along with the preview we sent you.

If the preview was approved with the spelling as it arrived, we cannot replace the pen free of charge, so please read the preview carefully before confirming it.

Message us on WhatsApp as soon as you can. If we have not yet made your tag or engraving, we can usually cancel. Once a personalized pen has been made, it cannot be cancelled. See our cancellation policy for the full details.

A small team at our workshop on Canal Road, Lahore. We started in March 2025 and have sent out around 5,000 pens since then. We wrap the handmade and jute pens by hand, add the feathers, flowers and bows, and prepare every tag and engraving. Metal pen bodies are bought in and decorated here, and the touchscreen pen is imported ready-made.
